The band that changed my life.

Formed under the notion that we would be making country music. After a couple of rehearsals in the attic above Noise Annoys Records, Sheffield, i realised it was too hard, i wasn't ready and that i needed to scream.

I'd been working on the first The Jesus Loves Heroin Band LP 'Slow Fever' on my own and proposed that instead we try out those surf influenced garage songs together.

When Coline joined the band in January 2010 we found our identity. We booked our first gig and the day before we were to play Coline got hit by a car on the way to buy new strings.

She left hospital and still managed to play the gig.

Within 6 months we were touring in France. Within a year i'd quit my job and two years later i'd be living in Paris.

With this band, I learned everything. The hard way.

It's still a dream of mine that our second LP, Revenge, will some day be released on vinyl.
